Jade is the son of parents who epitomize the qualities of Honor, Respect, and Ancient Traditions. He is ten years old when we meet him, and he has just had an encounter with the Demon of Doubt. Prior to this, each morning he would awake with excitement for what the day would hold, knowing and sure that the day would be filled with adventure. But now his vision has become strangled, and his mind is filled with doubt. His “‘What if’” declarations of creativity and adventure have now been replaced with questions: “What if they don’t like me?” “What if I fail?” “What if I look bad?” or simply, “I can’t.”

Bonsai – Small One. Firstborn in his family and the smallest in stature within the entire history of his people, Bonsai demonstrated a keen understanding of the world around him, commanding the elements of water, rock, fire, and air. His birth began the tenth generation of his family’s long line of kindness and military nobility. At the age of ten he experienced a great awakening and soon after performed a selfless act, saving the ruler’s son from certain death. This brought special privileges to his family. He excelled in martial arts and wore the traditional dual swords. He enjoyed mingling with many well-known people and was loved by all.

Boogaloo – A Dance. When Boogaloo was born into the Oneness, Harmony, and Unity known as Aikyam (pronounced: eye -kyem) of the Banzai it was a most special day. All the village elders synchronized with the timeless sea of knowledge, known to some Earth dwellers as the Akashic records, to name her. The Banzai elders agreed the name Boogaloo was how she would be called. Her parents loved to dance, and many times danced to entertain the village. They were very pleased by this name chosen for their firstborn daughter – it suited her well. Boogaloo’s mother and father claimed that she danced right out of her mother’s womb.
